  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

I'm trying to get better with remembering my water bottle when I go to the gym. They have one of those refill stations which is handy. They also sell plastic water bottles, but I've been trying not to use those.

Really try to not use plastic water bottles - they take 450 years to decompose. I learned this in the Plastic EcoChallenge this past summer. Plus plastic is horrid to the communities where it is made. Keep up the good work!

This challenge is thought provoking. It has a lot of ideas that I never would have thought of. Some I already do, but others like reduce plastic by bringing your own bottle, I knew about it a little, but to really implement it and carry it out is impactful to the earth. Good reminder. That's definitely one of my challenges.
