I will shop at a farmers market or food co-op to support local farmers and businesses. By doing so, I may be able to learn more about who produces the food I eat and goods I buy.

I will make an appointment for my annual physical.

I will switch to washing my clothes in cold water, saving up to 1,600 lbs of CO2 over the course of the next year.

I will make sure I’m registered to vote. While I’m at it, I’ll sign up to help others register too!

I will spend at least 15 minutes finding out what local laws, policies, and practices keep people from voting in my community.

I will repair at least one item that is broken, but is repairable. This might be items like garden tools, sewing machine, small appliances, electronics, clothing, and more.

I will keep lights, electronics, and appliances turned off when not using them.

I will avoid sending 2 disposable cups to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.

I will keep 2 disposable plastic bottles from entering the waste stream by using a reusable water bottle.
