I will spend 5 minutes learning about the perils of fast fashion and will buy my clothes at second-hand stores when I shop.
I will replace my lawn with a drought-tolerant landscape and save the water, money, and time I used to spend cutting the grass.
I will practice actively listening to a friend, family member, co-worker, acquaintance, or someone who I may disagree with in at least 3 conversations.
Racial inequity is both a sustainability and justice problem. I will support businesses owned by people of color in my community whenever I shop.
I will collect all of my unrecyclable, non-compostable trash to raise my awareness of how much I send to the landfill.
I will spend 10 minutes learning how conflict between people impacts people + planet.
Join family and friends in a 10k
I will spend at least 10 minutes touring (virtually or in person) a local dump/transfer station, material recovery facility, and/or landfill to learn about our local waste and waste recovery streams.
