I will explore at least one new hiking trail or nature walk in my area.

Flying emits a lot of CO2 into the atmosphere which affects air quality and the health of our planet, animals, and people. If buying a plane ticket, I will also buy a carbon offset.

I will calculate my Water Footprint to learn about my tap water use and "virtual water" use.

I will reduce the amount of paper mail that I receive by 3.4lbs (1.5kg) a month or 41lbs (18.6kg) a year by opting into paperless billing, ending unwanted subscriptions and opting out of junk mail.

I will spend at least 60 minutes touring (virtually or in person) a local dump/transfer station, material recovery facility, and/or landfill to learn about our local waste and waste recovery streams.

I will spend at least 60 minutes learning about water and air quality issues in my area, how they are impacting human and environmental health, and how I can help.

I will spend 30 minutes researching the impact of old harmful refrigerants on our environment.

I will advocate for alternatives to single-use packaging at local grocery stores, markets, at work, or on campus to reduce pollution in the environment and in local communities.

I will plant 5 trees in my community, public parks, or backyard.

At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will spend 50 minutes researching which plants support local native pollinators and plant some in my yard.

I will collect all of my unrecyclable, non-compostable trash to raise my awareness of how much I send to the landfill.

I will get my Core Four Biometrics tests (blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and BMI).

I will repair at least one item that is broken, but is repairable. This might be items like garden tools, sewing machine, small appliances, electronics, clothing, and more.

I will spend 60 minutes learning about sustainable fashion and begin trying to practice it in my own life.

Instead of traveling by plane, I will find an alternative way to accomplish the goals of an upcoming trip (i.e. telepresence, vacation locally).

I will keep lights, electronics, and appliances turned off when not using them.

I will spend 30 minutes listening to a podcast about food.

I will switch to washing my clothes in cold water, saving up to 1,600 lbs of CO2 over the course of the next year.

I will naturally heat and cool my house, office, or dorm room by opening or closing my windows, curtains, and blinds, and by using fans.

I will meditate or create a moment of silence for 10 minutes each day to reflect on things important to me.

I will research tool libraries and other sharing economy organizations in my area and rent instead of buy next time I need something they offer.

I will spend at least 30 minutes researching and weighing my options to see if a hybrid or electric vehicle makes sense for my lifestyle.

I will spend 60 minutes learning about restorative justice and conflict resolution.

I will replace 60 minutes of screen time each day with other activities.
