I will get my Core Four Biometrics tests (blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and BMI).
Effectively working for sustainability requires self care! I will commit to getting 30 more minute(s) of sleep each night to achieve at least 7 hours per night.
I will write down three things every day that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.
I will spend 60 minutes researching environmental justice and environmental racism concerns in my region, who is affected by them, and local initiatives to address these concerns.
I will plant 6 trees in my community, public parks, or backyard.
I will spend at least 120 minutes researching and weighing my options to see if a hybrid or electric vehicle makes sense for my lifestyle.
I will make an appointment for my annual physical.
I will spend at least 120 minutes touring (virtually or in person) a local dump/transfer station, material recovery facility, and/or landfill to learn about our local waste and waste recovery streams.
I will make sure I’m registered to vote. While I’m at it, I’ll sign up to help others register too!
I will spend 15 minutes researching the impact of old harmful refrigerants on our environment.
I will practice actively listening to a friend, family member, co-worker, acquaintance, or someone who I may disagree with in at least 10 conversations.
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 2 cups of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.
I will spend 10 minutes per day outside, practicing gratitude (prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.) for Earth and my natural surroundings.
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 30 minutes each day.
I will spend 60 minutes finding out where landfills and/or toxic waste sites are situated in my region and which communities are most impacted by these sites.
I will share my Ecochallenge story and why I'm taking action for the planet.
