I will spend 7 minutes researching environmental justice and environmental racism concerns in my region, who is affected by them, and local initiatives to address these concerns.

I will spend 52 minutes listening to a podcast about equity and justice.

I will watch 4 documentaries about systemic racism to learn more about how it affects us and the planet.

I will calculate my digital carbon footprint and take steps to reduce my CO2 emissions.

Racial inequity is both a sustainability and justice problem. I will support businesses owned by people of color in my community whenever I shop.

I will replace 4 incandescent lightbulbs with Energy Star-certified LED bulbs, saving up to $14 per fixture per year.

I will spend at least 16 minutes finding out what local laws, policies, and practices keep people from voting in my community.

I will make sure I’m registered to vote. While I’m at it, I’ll sign up to help others register too!

I will find out who in my state makes decisions that impact the environment and express my support for more environmental actions.

I will contact my local election office to volunteer during the upcoming election.

I will spend 31 minutes learning about the experiences of trans, femme, and/or nonbinary people.

I will practice actively listening to a friend, family member, co-worker, acquaintance, or someone who I may disagree with in at least 33 conversations.
